After our coaching session this week, I took a moment to consider how I have benefited from our work together since last
December. As you know, I have been a business coachee with you since June of 2004. Our earlier work provided a foundation
for changing my attitudes and paradigms and for developing effective leadership skills.
However, our work over the last eight months has been most significant for me. During that time I encountered several

Synthia and I have worked together since 2004 both for personal and professional coaching in my own career and business.
In addition, I have utilized Synthia's services for other executive and group coaching assignments during my time as Director
of Training at American Achievement Corporation.
In my capacity and Training Director for AAC, Synthia was able to provide a solid sounding board and brainstorming resource
at a time when there was no internal people in my field that could assist with learning design and program creation for the
leadership of AAC. We were also experiencing leadership changes at the top executive levels. Working with Synthia, I was
able to become more strategic about the program that my department offered: she helped me design and deliver a grass roots
culture shift initiative for our mid-level managers that is still operational to this day (16 months after its creation and
12 months after our leadership changes. I can state this has prevented resignations from these mid-level managers and renewed

Synthia has been a significant contributor as I transitioned out of Corporate America to follow Entrepreneurial pursuits.
She assisted me in getting my arms around how to be effective without the structure of the corporation and provided input

months. I believe that without her input this transition phase could have been as long as 3 years.
