How It Works

You have many options to choose from when it comes to your coaching program. Below is a list of typical coaching formats that can be customized to fit your time and budget needs. I also design fully customized programs for individuals and businesses. These most often include extended session time, in-person meetings for executive clients, and group events.

The length of your coaching program is up to you, but most new clients see results after 3 to 6 months. I typically ask for a minimum commitment of 12 sessions, spread over 3 - 4 months. Please consider this level of commitment if you are interested in a coaching program.

Coaching Formats

1. Individual Coaching...
Typically takes place over the phone in a series of scheduled sessions. Most of my clients select three sessions per month, with the calls lasting approximately 45 minutes. This program includes Coach on Call Services: unlimited email and brief 5 - 10 minute calls in between the scheduled sessions.

2. Group Coaching...
Most often includes 6 - 8 people and take place via teleconference. Groups typically meet twice per month for 3 to 4 months. Group Coaching is best for those who want group synergy and support at a lower per person investment.

For organizations: consider group coaching if you want to leverage the coaching experience to meet additional objectives, such as accelerating team development, implementing a change initiative, developing a group of high-potential or minority individuals; weakening silos by building cross-functional relationships; or aligning virtual teams separated by geography.

3. Spot Coaching...
Sometimes an urgent issue arises that needs immediate attention and can be addressed in a single 1 - 2 hour session. Spot Coaching is a way to generate alternate perspectives, soundboard options, and clarify next steps.

Why Phone vs. In Person?

It's estimated that approximately 80% of professional coaching takes place by phone and this is true for me. Most of my clients find that meeting by phone vs. in person saves time and is easier to fit into an already busy schedule. It also reduces your cost because there's no travel time. Over the years, I have worked thousands of hours with clients from all over the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East from my home office. So if you live outside the US, we can still work together.

However, sometimes the need arises for me to work with you or your organization in person. Examples include: observing you interact with clients, delegate work, or lead a meeting: interviewing people in your organization to gather feedback on how you can improve your performance; coaching your team in a new process; or you want to meet with me in person on a quarterly basis to soundboard your business or personal objectives. If you choose to work in person, I will work with you to create a customized coaching arrangement to meet your goals.

How Much Does It Cost?

Investment options for coaching support vary widely according to the type of services, frequency, and duration. My goal is to develop a program that meets your needs, timing, and budget. Please contact me to explore the options.
